Pinkberry is always a name I see when reading about food from the US. Supposedly a fro-yo sensation I was always intrigued and wanted to try the popular US chain, after all how exciting can frozen yoghurt really be?
Venturing on a Saturday afternoon to Oxford Street, I nearly tripped when I saw the sign for Pinkberry in Selfridge’s. Maybe it’s because I don’t keep up to date with every bit of food news, but I had absolutely no idea that there was a Pinkberry in Selfridge’s. Luckily for us it was a nice warm day and we hadn’t had lunch.
Usually my toppings on frozen yoghurt are a healthy one. At ‘Snog‘ I usually opt for the plain yoghurt with blueberries and strawberries but this time when I saw salted caramel I had to have it. To me, fruit doesn’t really go with salted caramel so unhealthy chocolate caramel sprinkles and chocolate sauce it was!
Creamy, salty, sweet goodness. I’m not entirely sure how ‘healthy’ my frozen yoghurt of choice was, aside from the toppings of course, but the fro-yo was the creamiest I’ve tasted to date. To be honest, I don’t really care and sharing the above between me and the OH was a mistake as it was gone in seconds… literally.
