The beginning of a three-day weekend, what better way to start it then attending a mini food festival called Munch Street Food, near Tower Bridge?
Although the festival was a foodies’ heaven, I’ve been trying to stick to a healthier diet recently and I just had to treat myself to good ol’ American-style hot dog. I ordered ‘The Big Frank’ which is 100% oak smoked pork, seasoned with paprika, nutmeg and black pepper. The sausage was cooked you could taste the smokey-ness and hints of paprika and black pepper – not so much the nutmeg.
It was a very good hot dog and was exactly what I was craving. It wasn’t as exciting as some of the other food stalls but sometimes you just need to stick to comfort food you know and trust.
