I was lucky enough to be part of Unearthed’s 193 course event in which surprisingly I managed to get tickets for – they were sold out in minutes. The idea behind the event was for Carrie and Simon from the company Unearthed to eat 193 courses, a dish from every country in the world, in 24 hours. The event managed to get a lot of press coverage and was opened to the public for two days to experience a ‘taster’ session of the event.
A pleasant enough dish, however it was a little bland.
A interesting concept but one, unfortunatly that didn’t work.
Durian was an interesting fruit which is similar to Marmite; you’ll either love it or hate it. I personally didn’t think it was very pleasant. The Tama was far too dense and incredibly bland. It needed a thick coating of sugar on the outside to make it more pleasant.
